This E-Portfolio will guide you through all of my hard work during my semester in ENC 2135 Research, Genre, and Context.

Opening Reflection
Upon entering college I had an abundance of knowledge surrounding the topics of literature and writing as a result of the rigorous courses I took in high school. However, none of my prior classes went into such great depth surrounding genres and composition. Thus, I was extremely excited to learn about and apply these topics and techniques to real life situations upon enrolling in this course. This class was the first time that I was required to create in various genres surrounding the same topic, which proved to be a learning curve that I was thankful to get over. I had never created a blog or flyer before this class nor circulated my work for the community to view. These assignments proved to be pivotal in this class and will be exceptionally useful in the real world, as I now have the upper hand in any future task that requires production and circulation of material. Additionally, I learned a lot about the entire writing process within this course because multiple rough drafts and outlines are required before progression to the final copy. All of the assignments encompassed within the larger projects were eye opening as I never had to do so many rough drafts upon writing a paper. However, these assignments outlined the writing process to me and helped me learn more about my writing style. Through this course I learned that my writing style is unique in the sense that all of my work is extremely thorough and my diction is quite advanced in order to portray my writing as professional and myself as an exceptional scholar. Overall, I learned a tremendous amount about the process of composing a genre as well as the expectations placed upon a college writing assignment.
