Final Reflection
As this semester draws to a close, I feel as though this class has taught me many essential skills that it takes to be a successful writer. I learned that writing is much more than just spilling thoughts onto a paper, but rather it requires organization and passion to become something worth reading. Writing is a skill that will be required in all walks of life in many different situations and ENC 2135 further solidified all of my prior knowledge in the subject as well as adding abundantly to it. Through this course I learned the importance of composing in different genres and how to correctly circulate information towards a targeted audience. This portfolio successfully displays all of my endeavors within this course in addition to all of the hard work that I did in the form of different projects and assignments. All of the projects within this class correlated with one another in some way and ultimately built up to project three which provided us with the most knowledge in regards to compositions and genres. I can take all of the information I have learned within this class and apply it to the real world as I am now knowledgeable in how to create different genres such as blogs, flyers, and informational social media accounts and I have the capabilities to circulate them effectively. Since I am going to major in Global Club Management with the hopes of claiming a managerial position in the future, I believe that having the knowledge about creating flyers and circulating information will be extremely useful. This class has taught me sufficiently about compositions, genres, and the art of creation and circulation. I will forever be grateful for this class as it will aid me as I progress in my college career and endure different writing assignments in the future.
